description

The Staten Island Children's Museum is an inclusive and empowering destination for children of all ages. With 40,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and a 4-acre East Meadow, there's something for everyone to enjoy. From imaginative play to cultural experiences, our museum offers a wide range of hands-on activities that encourage learning, exploration, and creativity.

Inside the museum, children can build houses, perform shows, make light dance, send video postcards, and so much more. Our exhibits allow children to actively engage with the displays, fostering a deeper understanding and connection to the world around them. Whether it's climbing a rock wall, captaining a ship, or fishing for oysters, there's no shortage of fun and educational experiences at the Staten Island Children's Museum.

But the excitement doesn't stop there. Step outside to the Garden Terrace, where nature comes alive. Children can learn about composting, interact with bugs, play with natural musical instruments, and take a moment to relax and connect with the peaceful surroundings. The outdoor patio space provides a chance for visitors to be inspired by nature and all it has to offer.
